Here at Fashion Hauler, the tastebuds are a plenty when it comes to fashion. It’s important to play around with your style, and not keep it so serious from time to time. Today our outfit feels are a little bit of grunge, meets quirky, with a little playful fun. We have our eye on all things Gucci right now. Seriously, the Spring S/S 16 collection is dynamite and we won’t stop talking about it! Now if only we could get our hands on the coveted $10k hand-painted Gucci leather jackets — that’s deemed the only moto jacket you’ll need this Spring by Vogue, our life would be so complete.
The Golden Globes has come and gone with some memorable moments to boot yet again. Last night’s 2016 Golden Globe awards were full of jokes (some funny, and some not so tasteful), laughter, and a little bit of shade. Although Quentin Tarantino came under fire for his use of the word “ghetto,” while accepting the award for best original score on behalf of “The Hateful Eight” composer Ennio Morricone, Taraji P. Henson’s win and Denzel Washington’s honor gave us all something to smile about.
Taraji Henson brilliantly handed out cookies on her way up to accept her award. “Who knew that playing an ex convict would take me all around the globe?” Henson said in her acceptance speech. “Uh, 20 seconds? I waited 20 years for this, y’all gonna wait.” – Taraji P. Henson responding to the timer while accepting her award for “Empire.”
After Ricky Gervais’ tacky introduction of America Ferrera and Eva Longoria, stating that, “these are two people who your future president, Donald Trump, can’t wait to deport,” the two Latina beauts hysterically joked on stage, and this is how their hilarious mini-speech went:
Eva: Yes, hi, I’m Eva Longoria, not Eva Mendes.
America: And hi, I’m America Ferrera, not Gina Rodriguez.
[Camera pans to Gina]
Eva (not Mendes): And neither of us are Rosario Dawson.
America: Nope. Well said, Salma.
Eva: Thank you, Charo.
Call the press, the term athleisure is here to stay and it’s been officially coined to the Merriam Webster dictionary as of late. According to Merriam-Webster, via The New York Times, athleisure will be defined as “casual clothing designed to be worn both for exercising and for general use.” Why is this ground breaking news? Well its terminology is not exactly new. Actually, it has had its official roots dating back all the way in 1976. But designers have recently been embracing this newish trend and creating an entirely separate line dedicated to athleisure wear.

It’s my birthday, and I’ll be splurgy if I want to! With that being said, you can usually find plenty of babe-on-a-budget shopping guides here, but since we all deserve a little TLC every now and again, what better day to have an excuse to #treatyoself. So in celebrating our day of being alive, why not do it with tons of presents to yourself —or why don’t you just give a little nudge and steer those nearest and closest to you in the right direction, nudge, nudge.
It’s back to school time, and though my years at school are no longer; it’s always fun to pick out items that keep me equally as organized and sassy like I would at campus.
This set was inspired by what dream shoe I would rock in class. I opted to keep things lively & fun to keep the dreariness of homework & essays at bay. How fun are those ASOS sparkle boots? Pair it with the cutest oxford long sleeve blouse and high-waisted shorts from Pixie Market for a fun look all your own.
Of course our back to school look wouldn’t be complete without Stella Mccartney’s vegan leather backpack. Max Studio’s glasses keep my coke bottle eyes in stylish form, and Valfre’s Iphone cover is just too good to not include!
Copenhagen has hands-down, one of the best and leading fashion scenes out there.
We learn simplicity is key, in getting that perfect #ootd memorable street style shot. Pick 3-4 key elements to your fit, and you’re ready to take the fashion world by storm.
This set features designers: Stella McCartney, a Zana Bayne bag (my favorite), Rag & Bone, and more!
