This past Friday, Perrier kicked off their Lunch Break series in where they invited the people of LA to ditch their desks for midday dance parties. In conjunction with Flavorpill they Present: Lunch Break, Made Extraordinary by Perrier. Launched in 2015, this unique event series transforms desk dwellers into partygoers at special events hosted by DJs Mayer Hawthorne and Autograf during a 2 hour lunch period.
Kiani and I took to Haati Chai’s sample sale last Friday as I saw their Instagram feed in the AM and decided we had to go seeing that they had pieces starting from $5. We especially had to given the fact that we worked down the street from their showroom, so it was a no brainer. I have been dying to get my hands on the Cecil chain bra. Why it’s taken me so long to even purchase it, I have no idea. But scoring things at sample sales are just so much better, am I right? Supreme gloating rights to getting things on discount is always a fun past time.
CHECK OUR FIRST FASHION HAUL AFTER THE JUMP!
As you know, we here take our eyebrows pretty seriously here at Fashion Hauler. As one friend put it, the “eyebrows are the vagina of the face,” and I really couldn’t argue against that as the eyebrows really set the frame for your face. Our last mention on eyebrow news spotlighted the covetable brow creme by & Other Stories, in which we had an ultimate fail experience in attaining our perfect quest for brows. When we walked past Salon Neihule in DTLA which advertised an Eyebrow Bar, we were immediately intrigued to do a little walk-in to inquire. We met with Angelina—a renowned celebrity makeup brow artist who has worked on the likes of Solange, Amal Clooney, Cassie, Hillary Duff, and Kelly Ripa. After a quick consultation we decided on fulfilling our wildest eyebrow dreams. Thanks Cara & Bambi!
