For all die-hard Victoria Secret lovers out there, this news may come as bad if you love their signature and affordable swim line. The lingerie brand announced it would be discontinuing their swim category and concentrate more on their new athleisure line. The decision was for the company to focus on resources and core merchandise categories, where the company believes the greatest growth potential exists.

VS made roughly $500 million last year with its swimwear business (about 6.5 percent of its total sales), but in August, the company reported lower sales in that category. The chain’s decision comes two months after Sharen Turney, former CEO of Victoria’s Secret, resigned and noted that the category was her “biggest disappointment, and we did it to ourselves.”

New Year, New You, New Resolutions. According to research data, last year about 37% of American’s had resolved to stay fit and healthy, with indications that the same could be said true for this year. If you’ve already gone out and purchased and Apple Watch or a Fitbit to help monitor your progress, we’ve got something else you might want to try and it screams “GIRL POWER”. Canadian startup OMsignal is launching a biometric bra at CES 2016, the Consumer Electronics Association’s International Consumer Electronics Show this week in Las Vegas. That’s right, the world’s first smartbra. Not since Wonder Woman’s bullet-deflecting-bodysuit have undergarments been so vital to keeping women fit and healthy. While this bra isn’t equipped with heroic technology, it does come fitted with the same heart monitoring sensors as your health bands, except it’s way more accurate, being fitted so closely to your heart. If that doesn’t have you hooked get this: the bra is totally customizable for all your athleisure needs.

Leggings That Are Worth the Extra Splurge

leggings that are worth the splurge

I must admit, I was like any other lazy fashion girl in my twenties — eating whatever I wanted with minimal physical effort. Buying whatever leggings to get me by when I was invited to hikes with friends, which was my only form of yearly exercising was sooo not kosher when my $5 leggings from Forever 21 ended up being see through as my girlfriends would point out when they would get behind me. Insert monkey covering eyes emoticon here. Now that I’m in my thirties, working out is a mandatory and being stylish at the same time is equally very important stuff.
